Sea Oats, Fence, and Beach

Description: Last summer, I decided to drive to Morehead City, NC just because I felt like it. Yeah, spur of the moment things, just felt like seeing the ocean on the east coast instead of the Gulf of Mexico like I'd seen for many years. I do like the beaches in North Carolina a lot better. They're a lot cleaner, a LOT LESS seaweed, and they actually have shells on them. On the Gulf of Mexico beaches, you can find sand dollars more so than here, but NC beaches are far better. The one thing you can't do is to drive on the beach like you can do on most beaches in Texas. It was nice to walk barefoot on the clean, pure sand, just taking my time, watching the waves slowly come in.
I stayed at a Comfort Inn there. Nice place. Had a fridge and microwave, and the price was decent. Very close to Atlantic Beach and Radio Island. My trip was too short as I only had 1 full day there before I had to head home to Summerfield.
But I'd like to visit there again sometime soon.
