Pecans to Be

Description: These are 'Pecan wanna be'. Young 'uns. They have the potential of going into something that will be part of a pie I hope to eat this fall.

Myself, I'm really looking forward to a big harvest from my 3 Pecan Trees. So far, all signs are pointing to it.

I'll let ya know if the peaches are good as soon as I get up the nerve to eat one, lol.

Underwater 1

Description: A good friend of mine, Cris, is a diver and allowed me to post his pictures on my site. Him and his wife of many years have enjoyed vacationing in Belize and took some really great pictures underwater. I would love to learn how to do that. It looks like a lot of fun.

Description: This peony grows wild in my yard. The reason I say 'wild', is that I do nothing at all to assist it to grow. Now if I did, I'd probably kill it by accident. My thumb is just that brown. But I still like to see flowers and watch them grow.

Hidden Falls

Description: Hanging Rock State Park is only about 30 miles away and a pleasent drive (except for the gas prices these days, lol). Regardless, I still need to make another trip up there. The mountain views are great and the trails are very well taken care of. A great place to take the kids for a day trip. Even 'big kids' like me enjoy it.
